Game Preview: AIS vs Lightning
21/NOV/2008 – The AIS has a battle ahead of them on Friday night if they hope to get over Adelaide.
AIS v Adelaide Lightning - 7.00pm at the AIS Training Hall
Lightning took a comprehensive victory on Saturday 90-62 over the Institute.
Adelaide bench player Rebecca Duke top-scored last week and ex-AIS player Cayla Francis was dominant under both baskets scoring 19 points and grabbing 17 rebounds and will aim to have the same impact on Friday.
Liz Cambage posted a double-double against the Lightning but could do more damage if she stays out of foul trouble.
Adelaide has a lot of players in fine form with five players scoring in double figures on Saturday; Duke, Francis, Jessica Foley, Marita Payne and Angela Marino, and if Tracy Gahan can avoid another injury she should post her usual high numbers.
