She averaged 5.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in 21 games for the AIS in 2006/07. In her two games in 2005/06 she averaged 8.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game She averaged 7.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for the Gems at the 2007 World Championship in Slovakia. She has represented SA Metro at U16 (2003), U18 (2004 and 2005) and U20 (2006) and was selected for the Australian Junior Camp 2004 and 2006 INTERNATIONAL GAMES: 17 (Junior). 2007 Junior World Championship Mia has one brother Brad, who plays for the Boomers. Mia used to play the piano and a distant relative of hers is Bernard Fanning.
